Payment Options We Accept
We accept most major payment types. Payment is due at the time of service unless treatment is being financed or a balance is pending an insurance estimate.

Paid at the front desk at the time of service, with a printed receipt for your records or for submitting to a benefits plan.
Personal Checks
Personal checks are accepted for treatment and for balances remaining after an insurance estimate has been applied.

We are a fee-for-service dental office. We accept all insurances that provide out-of-network coverage. Our insurance coordinator, Meryl, will answer all insurance-related questions and will work with your insurance provider to ensure we maximize your coverage for your dental needs. She will also ensure all claims are submitted by our office on your behalf as soon as services are completed.
What fee-for-service means for you
Treatment decisions are made between you and Dr. Kambez Shukoor, not dictated by an insurance network contract. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, those benefits still apply here and we file the claim for you.

For implants, full-arch work, and larger restorative plans, third-party financing lets you begin treatment now and pay over time. We work with two partners.
CareCredit
A healthcare-specific credit card used for dental, medical, and vision care. Once approved, you can use it for treatment here and choose from several term lengths, including promotional periods with no interest when the balance is paid in full within the promotional window.

How we handle payment when a treatment plan is too large to pay in one visit.
Structured payments, arranged before treatment starts
Most extended payment arrangements here run through CareCredit or Cherry, which is what allows monthly payments and interest-free promotional periods. Beyond that, we routinely phase treatment so that care is delivered in stages and costs land over several months rather than all at once — for example, addressing urgent problems first and scheduling elective work afterward.
If none of those work for your situation, talk to us directly. Whatever we agree on is put in writing before treatment begins, so you always know what is owed and when.

Paying a large case in full
Patients paying for extensive treatment in full at the start sometimes have options that are not available on a financed plan. Because any such courtesy depends on the treatment involved and the current terms, we will not quote a figure here — ask when your written treatment plan is presented and we will tell you plainly whether it applies to your case.

After your consultation and imaging you receive a written, itemized plan — and at that point we walk through insurance, financing, and sequencing together.
Bring the money question up at the consultation. It is a normal part of planning treatment, and it is far easier to build a plan around your budget at the start than to rearrange it halfway through.
